SDS2354X HD Oscilloscope



The SDS2354X HD is the 100 MHz model of the SDS2000X HD series, whose biggest difference between the SDS2000X Plus series is the 12-bit analog-to-digital converter.

The 12-bit analog-to-digital converter allows high-frequency oscillation and noise to be contained and mitigated more quickly and easily. It also enables faster and more accurate tuning of attenuation circuits and more accurate transient response testing. 

The wider dynamic range, lower noise, and greater offset adjustability make it an ideal instrument for your own lab equipment.

The SHS2000X HD Series digital storage oscilloscopes are high-resolution and offer a sampling rate of 2 GSa/s and excellent noise rejection. The series offers 3 models at 350 MHz, 200 MHz, and 100 MHz, providing a recording length of 200 Mpts per channel, 4 analog channels, and 16 digital channels.

Furthermore, the SDS2000X HD series offers up to 100,000 wfm/s (normal mode, up to 500,000 wfm/s in sequence mode), a 256-level intensity gradation display function, and a color temperature display mode. The digital trigger system is highly sensitive and offers low jitter.

The trigger system supports several powerful trigger modes, including serial bus triggering. Tools such as history waveform recording, search and navigation functions, mask test, bode plot, power analysis and histogram enable the acquisition, storage and analysis of extensive waveform records. An impressive array of measurement and math functions, options for a 25 MHz arbitrary waveform generator, and serial decoding are additional features of the SDS2000X HD.

The large 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports multi-touch gestures and can greatly improve operating efficiency with its user-friendly UI design. It also supports mouse control and remote web control via LAN.

The oscilloscope can control the built-in waveform generator or a stand-alone SIGLENT generator to scan the amplitude and phase frequency response of the DUT and display the data as a Bode plot.




Power Analysis (Optional)

The Power Analysis option provides a full suite of power measurements and analyses that significantly improve measurement efficiency in the design of switching power supplies and power devices



Digital Channels (optional)

Four analog channels plus 16 digital channels allow users to capture and trigger the waveforms and then analyze the pattern simultaneously with an instrument





Built-in 25 MHz waveform generator (optional)

The built-in waveform generator can output waveforms with a frequency of up to 25 MHz and an amplitude of ±3 V.

Six basic waveforms are supported along with several types of predefined waveforms and as user-defined arbitrary waveforms



Advanced mathematical function

In addition to the traditional operations (+, -, X, /), FFT, integration, differential, square root and more are supported. For more complex operations, the formula editor is available. 2 mathematical traces are available.

Hardware accelerated FFT supports operation with up to 2 Mpts. Three modes (Normal, Average and Max Hold) can meet different power spectrum observation requirements.



Hardware based mask test function

The oscilloscope uses a hardware-based mask test function that performs up to 14,000 pass/fail decisions per second. It is easy to generate custom test templates to provide trace mask comparisons, making it suitable for long-term signal monitoring or automated production line testing





History mode

The history function can record up to 80,000 frames of waveforms. Recording is automatic, allowing the customer to replay the historical waveforms at any time to observe unusual events and quickly locate the area of interest using the cursors or measurements. The failed frames of the mask test can be saved as history

The parameter measurements include 4 categories: Horizontal, Vertical, Miscellaneous and CH Delay, allowing a total of more than 50 different types of measurements. Measurements can be made within a specified gate period. Measurements on math, reference and history frames are supported.

Sequence mode

In segmented memory acquisition, the waveform is stored in multiple memory segments (up to 80,000), and each segment stores a triggered waveform and the dead time information. The interval between segments can be up to 2 μs. All segments can be played back with the history function




Search and navigate

The oscilloscope can search for user-specified events in a frame. Events highlighted by the search can be automatically recalled with Navigate. It can also navigate by time (delay position) and history frame
