SDS6000A Oscilloscope Series

SIGLENT's SDS6000A series digital storage oscilloscopes are available in 2 GHz, 1 GHz and 500 MHz bandwidths, have a sampling rate of 5 GSa/s (10 GSa/s ESR) on each channel, a maximum record length of 500 Mpts/channel and have 4 analog channels + 16 digital channels mixed signal analysis capability.

SDS6054A Oscilloscope

The SDS6054A oscilloscope has a bandwidth of 500 MHz and 4 channels with a sampling rate of 5 GSa/s each. The SDS6054A uses Siglent's SPO technology and features a maximum waveform capture rate of up to 170,000 wfm/s (up to 750,000 wfm/s in sequence mode), a 256-level intensity gradation display function, and a color temperature display mode. In addition, the oscilloscope has an innovative digital trigger system with high sensitivity and low jitter. The trigger system supports several powerful triggering modes, including serial bus triggering. Large waveform records can be captured, stored and analyzed with tools such as history waveform recording, search and navigation functions, mask test, Bode plot, power analysis and eye/jitter analysis. Software on board includes a host of measurement and math functions, options for a 25MHz arbitrary waveform generator, and serial bus decoding and triggering.

The 12.1-inch large capacitive touch screen supports multi-touch gestures and has a user-friendly UI design, which can greatly improve operation efficiency. The device can also be operated wirelessly with the supplied mouse and offers web remote control via LAN.

Highlights

Jitter-Analyse

Eye/jitter analysis function

The Siglent SDS6054A supports eye and jitter analysis measurements. It can automatically extract the embedded reference clock from serial data and create the eye diagram. The Siglent SDS6054A enables the measurement of multiple eye/jitter parameters and supports mask testing on eye diagrams.

Signalerfassungsrate

Up to 170,000 wfm/s signal acquisition rate

The Siglent SDS6054A offers a signal acquisition rate of up to 170,000 wfm/s and achieves a rate of up to 750,000 wfm/s in sequence mode.

Speichertiefe

Up to 500 Mpts/channel memory depth

Using the Siglent SDS6054A's hardware-based zoom technology and a record length of up to 500 Mpts, users can select a slower time base without affecting the sample rate. Quickly zooming in allows you to focus on desired measurement areas.

Hardware-Maskentest

Hardware based high speed mask test

The Siglent SDS6054A uses a hardware-based mask test function capable of making up to 18000 pass/fail decisions per second. It is easy to generate custom test templates against which the waveform can be continuously compared. The failed frames can be automatically saved as history frames or screenshots, suitable for long-term signal monitoring or automated production line testing.

Parameterstatistiken

Parameters & Parameter Statistics

The parameter measurements include 4 categories: Vertical, Horizontal, Miscellaneous and Channel Delay with a total of more than 50 different types of measurements. Measurements can be made within a specific "gate period". Measurements on math, reference, and history frames are supported.

Mathematikfunktionen

Advanced math functions

Hardware accelerated FFT up to 8 Mpts. This feature provides high frequency resolution with a fast refresh rate. The FFT function also supports a variety of window functions, so it can adapt to different spectrum measurement needs. Three modes (Normal, Average and Max Hold) can meet different power spectrum observation needs. Automatic peak detection and markers are supported.

History-Mode

History mode

History mode records up to 80,000 triggered waveforms (frames). This is done continuously in the background, so the history waveforms can be replayed at any time to find and analyze past events. Serial decode, zoom and cursor measurements can be used.

Sequenzmodus

sequence mode

The segmented data stores the waveform in multiple memory segments (up to 80,000). Each segment stores a triggered waveform along with the dead time information. The distance between the segments can be as little as 1.3 µs. All segments can be replayed with the history function and any frame rate.

suchen__navigieren

Search and navigate

The Siglent SDS6054A can be used to find events in a dataset and in history based on user-defined trigger conditions. Navigate through the events in the browsers, play history frames or continuously move the delay position on long datasets (useful in zoom view).

Busdekodierung

Serial bus decoding

View bus protocol information in tabular form. Support I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, I2S, MIL-STD-1553B and SENT.

Zonentrigger

zone trigger

The Siglent SDS6054A offers a zone trigger function for advanced triggering.

Maskeneditor

mask editor

The integrated mask editor helps to create custom masks.
