EasyScope X - Average Waveform Data
Averaging the signal curve can be a useful way to reduce the noise in a particular signal.
The SIGLENT SDS series of oscilloscopes can easily capture average waveform data using the EasyScope X software.
NOTE: Currently, average waveform data can not be saved in CSV format to a USB memory stick through the front USB connection.
Initial setup:
- Download the NI-VISA Runtime Engine that suits your operating system if your computer does not already have a VISA library. This can be downloaded from National Instruments Install the VISA library.
- Install the VISA library. This is the communication library used by the EasyScope X software to communicate with the instrumentation
- Download the EasySpectrum software from the SSA3000X product page on the SIGLENT website
