Hardware details
SIGLENT's SDG2000X is a series of dual-channel function/arbitrary waveform generators with specifications of up to 120 MHz maximum bandwidth, 1.2 GSa/s sampling rate and 16-bit vertical resolution. The proprietary TrueArb and EasyPulse techniques help address the weaknesses of conventional DDS generators in generating arbitrary, square and pulse waveforms. With the above advantages, SDG2000X can provide users with a variety of signals with high fidelity and low jitter to meet the growing needs of complex and large-scale applications.

TrueArb technology
With SIGLENT's TrueArb technology, the generator retains the advantages of DDS technology and addresses the serious weaknesses of DDS jitter and distortion. Since TrueArb technology generates any waveform point by point, each data point is used to generate the stored output signal.
EasyPulse technology
When a square/pulse waveform is generated by DDS, single-ended jitter occurs if the sampling rate is not an integer multiple of the output frequency. SDG2000X EasyPulse technology successfully overcomes this weakness in DDS designs and helps generate square/pulse waveforms with low jitter.
High-performance sampling system
Benefiting from a 1.2 GSa/s, 16-bit sampling system, the SDG2000X achieves extremely high accuracy performance in both time domain and amplitude, resulting in more accurately reconstructed waveforms and lower distortion.
